Done!

Finished all the painting yesterday! Yeah me!

Things I've learned
Incandescent light bulbs are NOT good for the kitchen. As much as I dislike fluourescent bulbs, they aren't as hot. So instead of having 4 fluourescent tubes of 20watts each, I now have 3 40-watt incandescent bulbs. It's pretty warm.

Health Care
I went to the doctor yesterday to do a followup on my blood work. We've been working on 'issues' so I've had to do some work ups for awhile. I had forgotten that I had the appointment, with all the excitement I've been having lately, so I didn't get the blood work done. I told the doctor, and this is all true. My COBRA insurance runs out in a few weeks. If I don't get a job, not sure what I'll do about health insurance. Even if I get a job, I don't want to have any more 'pre-existing' conditions, I already have the high blood pressure and skin cancer. I can't add to that high cholestral or diabetes! Then I must go back for a re-take for my mammogram of the other day. I certainly don't need THAT!

Part Time Work
Saw yesterday that the bead shop was looking for help. Wouldn't that be a hoot? Just pay me in beads and lessons, I don't have to eat!

This Just In
Didn't get the job in DC. Now what? Same old same old, I guess. Update the resume, apply for jobs, go to networking meetings, apply for jobs, wait. God, I hate looking for a job. Maybe I could just sell the house and find a nice spot in the woods somewhere in a nice doublewide cardboard box.
