Almost Done

Today I'm finishing the painting! I'll do another coat on the bedroom ceiling, and I'll paint the guest bathroom. Then on to the carpets!

Job News
Nothing. I can only assume No News is Good News. I just wish these headhunters would get a little class and consideration, when you're dealing with someone's life issues, at least keep them informed. Calling and emailing them resolves nothing, they never return either. So I'm going to wallow in self-pity until I atleast get the rooms put back together. Then what? More applying for jobs, networking, and waiting.

Connections
I spoke with my friend Susan on Saturday. She's the one who got engaged for the first time at 47, only for her fiance to pass away from a massive heartattack 4 months before the wedding. I can't begin to voice my sympathy for her, that is just so sad. She says she has good days and bad days. She said her therapist is on her to quit smoking and stop drinking, on top of dealing with her fiance passing and not having a job. One thing at a time! She was atleast laughing and talking about it, and Susan is a strong woman, I know she'll move on.
