2007 hasn't been a good year for Georgia. With the passing of James Brown, Phyllis Brown (the murdered sheriff's wife) President Ford and now Gaspar, nothing but depressing things in the news. It HAS to get better!
Resolutions Hah!
So far the eating thing has been a failure. I'm trying to get rid of all the food I've had in the house for the Holidays. (I'm trying to eat all the food!) No more exercise, it was a nice day yesterday, but I just didn't do it.
I did do some positive things yesterday, I bought a new answering machine (the other one finally bit the dust, thanks to the kitties dumping water on it.) I got that up and working, I did some research for joining my credit union, I did some job research. There's an opening for a management position at the Publix in Key West, FL. Hhhuuummmm....
Networking
I finally re-did my resume yesterday and I'm ready to start again. I went to a networking group this morning, there's another meeting of a different group this afternoon and I got some great ideas for online networking. I have to put myself out there more.
Dating
A good friend sent me an article on MSN.COM all about dating. It said to schedule one date a week. I'm working on one date a decade! Even BITD I didn't have a date a week unless I was seeing someone. I don't know anyone who did! Fiction writing must be a good industry. Good ideas, nothing I've not heard before. Just most dating articles are for young kids, not us old, hardened folks who are 'Set in Our Ways'. I know, keep an open mind, you'll find the Right One when you're not looking, do things you like and you'll meet like-minded people, blah, blah, blah.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I think you have to do the online dating thing to get a date a week. I can't imagine meeting enough new people to get a date a week in thru the conventional ways. But wait, there is always the Johnny's Hideaway option.
