Inspiration

This is just GREAT! The humidity is down, the temperature is comfortable, and the nights are getting cooler! I love this weather. All I hear today (so far) is quiet. I guess they've cut all the trees down.

Congratulations, LunLun
LunLun gave birth to a baby Panda here in Atlanta yesterday. I didn't even know she was pregnant! I watched all the excitement in Washington when Tai Shan was born, and I hope the folks at the Atlanta zoo can generate the same interest.

Exercise
For some reason, I just got some energy yesterday and walked Stone Mountain. OK, not all the way up, I made it to the picnic shelter. If anyone knows how close I was to the top, please tell me, I can't find that information anywhere online. I was passed the Emergency call box #1, so I was hopefully more than 1/2 way. I parked at the Red Caboose and walked into the Park, so I got a good couple of miles in. Walking straight up is tough work. I slept very soundly last night! Maybe today, I'll ride my bike around the Mountain.

Inspiration
In response to my blog yesterday, SnakeHunters suggested a link from a website that really got me thinking. The specific link he suggested was great, but the entire website was a Work of Art. Good ideas, great thoughts. Check out www.barefootsworld.net for some thougthful insite and ideas. He's stating it like it is, not Republican or Democrat or conservative or liberal, just stating a fact. Would that all politicians spoke so clearly!
The link he suggested was a real eye-opener! Talk about the dumbing down of America! Example: Give 9 rules for the use of Capital Letters. All you English majors, grad students and overall smart people who read this blog, can you answer this question? So I guess I won't be bored anymore, it will take me days to lookup all the answers to these questions! Thanks, SnakeHunters!
