It's always amazing to me what a 7 mile hike can cure! It clears the mind, refreshes the soul and hurts the feet. For some reason, this paticular hike gives me a blister on the ball of my left foot. I got a blister last week when I did this hike, but I hiked all around Providence canyon with no problem. But last night, I started getting another blister. This time I had band-aids!
Best laid Plans
Well, as the saying goes 'Even the best laid plans go awry.' I had it all planned out: Get call forwarding on my phone and forward them to my cell phone while I maintained a dial-up connection and cancel my cable TV. I even joined Netflix to keep me entertained. Turns out now that AOL has a 'special offer' thru Comcast for cheaper DSL service. So I can be online and still get phone calls. So now I must cancel call forwarding and NetFlix. Why pay for movies when I get 134 (or so) channels?
Networking
I'm going to a networking breakfast tomorrow morning at 7:30am. Even when I was working, I didn't get up that early. This will be a test. But who knows what will come from this??
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I know you are on budget, but if you can, I suggest keeping Netflix. I love it, I get to see movies I wouldn't ever find at Blockbuster, and it is great for TV series that you want to catch up on. (I never had HBO, so we caught up on Sopranos, etc.)
Primer
I miss hiking, and this Iraqi "camping" experience is just not up to par...needs BEER!
