Finally, I've made it to the 21st Century!

Yes, finally I got my cable modem hooked up and running and I've joined the high-speed internet crowd. What took me so long?? This is great!

The problem was a filter AT&T put on the line way Back-In-The-Day. That also effected my digital reception all these years. I guess no one documents anything anymore.

Cat Fights
I brought Remy home from getting her haircut yesterday. She is SO CUTE! But Katrina is being a real B*tch, hissing at her and jumping on her. Remy went from a big, fuzzy cotton ball to a bald little Lion Cub, and she still lacks confidence. She's not hiding, but she seems to be unsure of herself. And Miss K, who is the Alpha Kitty doesn't want to relinquish that status to this new upstart. I don't think Katrina recognizes Remy, and Remy doesn't smell like herself. They fru-fru-ed the kitty and she smells like shampoo and conditioner. She is SO TINY! As soon as I get pictures, you can bet I'll post them!

Networking
I got up this morning and hauled my butt to a networking meeting at 7:30AM. It was over at Perimeter Mall. I left a bit later than I anticipated, but it took me only about 20 minutes to get there, amazing considering what could have happened. I didn't even get up that early when I was working! But I made some contacts, got some names and I'm a happy camper.

Memorial Day
Got another Big Weekend planned! Tonite is another Drive-In night on the deck, tomorrow I'm thinking of going to the Bodies exhibit in Atlanta, Sunday is a hike and Monday is a picnic. Then a short week, and I'm off to Visit The Parents.
