Today is laundry day. WooHoo. I've got to nip this flea thing in the bud, so to speak. Got the flea stuff for the cats, my fuzzy kitty is being groomed today, so I've got to clean all sleeping areas, vacuum all rugs and generally clean. My favorite job.
A Pleasant Suprise
Last night, some of my friends and I ushered at a new theater in town, The Theatrical Outlet. What a lovely little theater. We saw the play 'Keeping Watch', which was a great play. Funny, dramatic, entertaining, it really made you think. After the play there was a Q&A session with the cast and as one cast member put it, 'A good play doesn't end at the theater'. I highly recommend this play to anyone. One of the characters was played by Brik Birkes, an actor I remember from the Shakespeare Tavern a few years ago. He's a very good actor, I've seen him in comedy and drama and he's great.
Job Hunt
Nothing to write about. I'm going to a networking breakfast tomorrow (no, I didn't make it last week) and hopefully that will give me a shot in the arm.
Homecoming
I'll be leaving for DC next Friday (2June) to visit the family. I'm already dreading it, for a number of reasons. Visiting the family is always traumatic.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
