Thanks to everyone who expressed sympathy for Misty's passing. I do miss her, but you can tell the Kitty Dynamics are changing. Misty was the Alpha Cat, if there is such a thing. She didn't care for the other kitties and let them know, but she did hang with them. She would yell at me sometimes in the morning when I didn't feed the kitties, then she'd just sniff the food and walk away. So now Remy and Katrina are jockying for the spot. Remy is a Himalayan and she's a beautiful cat, and knows it, so she has the entitlement attitude. Then Katrina is just a pushy b*tch. She swats at the other kitties when they are eating and she wants to, she swats at them when she gets twisted in my legs and I punt her. Of course, if you'd lived through the hurricane, I'd think you'd be a b*tch, too.
Honking Horns
So I was sitting at a traffic light this morning to turn left and I was not paying 100% attention to the red light. The light turned green, the car next to me moved forward and I noticed I had the turn signal. Some car behind me blew their horn. I hesitated maybe 1/2 second, but this guy blew his horn. How annoying! I believe that is what they teach drivers in NYC, when the light turns green, blow your horn. Are you really in that much of a hurry? Or that much of a control freak?
So of course, being my fathers' daughter, I accelerate V E R Y slowly. Same thing when I'm in the fast lane and you flash your bright lights at me. I Slow down. Yes, I am a B*tch.
Dekalb County Residents, Beware
I've blasted Cynthia McKinney in this blog before, but not much, she really doesn't deserve too much attention. There was an article in the AJC on Sunday about her. She's an educated woman, and will speak her mind. She's not too popular on Capitol Hill, probably because she doesn't work with the party, but on her own agenda. Anyway, the article said she will probably always win her election bids due to her loyal supporters in South Dekalb. So Dekalb county voters, get out and vote. This is a racial thing, she's made it that way. She doesn't represent me.
So I read something in the Sunday Paper that got me thinking. Dekalb County CEO, Vernon Jordon is thinking about challenging Cynthia McKinney for her senate seat. He's a Democrat, too, so it will be an early fight, but what a choice. Oh my God.
Georgia Car Tax
There is an editorial in the AJC today about abolishing the car tax we all must pay on our birthdays. Get rid of it! Does it really pay for roads? I don't think so. According to the article, the state of Georgia will have a $ Billion excess due to this tax. OK, Republicans, stick to your guns about lowering taxes. You guys have the majority, get rid of the tax.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
