Another Day, Another Dollar, er, maybe not

I'm trying to determine a schedule. I need some type of structure or I won't accomplish anything. I'm trying to decide when is the best time to do certain things. I'd like to be up early and exercise before it gets too hot outside, shower, make coffee, read the paper, then get to the computer. OR I could get up early and head off to the library and do what I have to do. OR.. you get the picture.

Networking
I also must find places to network. I've already received some great tips from friends, but I need to make my circle wider. The HR Director at my old company is sending me some of her old contacts when she was looking for a job. (Ironic, isn't it?) But most of them are located way far south of the city, and I'm not interested/can't afford to drive that far several times a week. Most of these connections were thru churches, so I'm sure I can find some here in HotLanta. I could use the spiritual connections, too.

God Bless the Internet
Because the internet brings everything to you, I was able to apply for 8 jobs yesterday. One company did get back to me (automated email) with more information about the job. A short term BA contract in Tampa, at $440/day. That's a lot of money. I, of course, am not qualified, they are looking for someone with a high level of medical experience, of which I have none.

Finally, yard work.
That's the plan today, get out and FINALLY cut the grass (level out the weeds, actually) and get stuff prepared for renting a tiller and digging my heart out. I did manage to go get 3 large bags of compost yesterday, so I'll get back there today for 3 more bags. I don't have anything else to put the stuff in, and I can't get them too full as that stuff is heavy! So I'll waste all this gas driving back and forth to get compost.

Lost Pictures
The saga with Target continues. When I went to pick up my pictures, I realized they weren't mine, so I took them to the Customer Service counter, where they told me to call the number on the ticket I had and to leave the pics there. Well, I called the number (corporate photo finishing) and they told me the store has to return the pictures. So I went back yesterday to tell them that, and they can't find the pictures. They are supposed to call me today when they talk to the person working CS the night I went in. So don't take your pictures to Target. I won't.

This Weekend
This weekend is supposed to be the Spring Dress ride with WheelHopper, but I'm having second thoughts. It's only getting up to 60, which isn't really bad, but it's supposed to rain. That's pretty miserable. We'll see. It's also the Inman Park Festival, which I may attend tomorrow. I have to get out of the house more, I enjoy my company, but I'm already tired of myself. My cat, Miss Katrina, hates me already as I'm always petting and loving on her. I only had her 2 weeks before I started working the last time.
