Will we ever see the Sun Again??!

Oh, I hope so! This weather is really depressing. At least it's warm, it would be so gross if we had to deal with snow and ice, too.

Will they Please Shut the DJ's UP???
I was terribly disappointed when Z93 became DaveFM. Why Dave? Anyway, I've gotten used to the new format, I actually like the music, but the morning DJ's are getting on my last nerve. Can Holly Furfur be any more immature and shallow? Yes, I guess she could be, she could be Barnes. They are discussing Holly's upcoming wedding and she and the groom are b*tching about where it's going to be and who to invite, yada, yada, yada. I admit I've never had to plan weddings, but I have lived thru several friends planning theirs. I know you want your friends to celebrate with you, but at some point in life, it just isn't that important anymore. The important thing is that you and your partner love each other and want to make a lifetime commitment to each other. Not where you are, who's there with you and what you're wearing.

Shakespeare Tavern
I'll be going to see Merchant of Venice this Friday. I'm looking forward to it. We always have such a good time when we go there. I try to get a group of people together, and I do pretty well, averaging about 8 - 10 people each month. But sometimes I just get frustrated with other people. I send out emails to a large list, with a few responses. Some people have never responded. I have deleted a few from the list because they said they wanted to go, I made reservations and never heard from them again. No money was lost, but that was just rude. I know, I know, if they don't respond, they are just not interested. But how hard is it to hit the reply button and type in, 'Not this time, maybe next time?'

It's still all about Them
I ran into this same frustration when I was running events with the Ski Club. You'd post an event, give a cutoff date and have several reply's requesting a spot after the cutoff. Single people don't make commitments to much of anything, including tickets to a show.
Hey, I'm just as guilty.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
