God It's HOT!

This will be the second time I've tried to post something. AT&T dropped me, and I'm thinking I may be dropping them too....

Even in this heat, my kitties like to hang out on the porch. The don't move much, but they would rather snooze on the chairs on the porch than on my bed. Even with all that fur, Remy finds a sunbeam and catches some zzz's

Harry is in training to be a Cat. I got up to get something, and he jumped in my chair! This, of course, was before it got HOT!

As you can probably tell, tensions among the kitties have eased. Miss K is playing with Harry, like he's a little toy. He squeals and cries, but then attacks her. She's actually moving...well sometimes. I'm thinking she may need a pet..... It's hard to get an action shot, they move so fast! Harry is a bit scared of Miss K, could it be because she's twice his size??


It was reallly hot yesterday afternoon, and when I decided to bring Miss Katrina inside, I had to pick up 13 lbs of dead weight. She just didn't care. So here she sits on the couch, reading the Sunday paper. She laid there for about an hour. See why she needs a pet?? Nice fuzzy belly there, eh?

OK, one last picture. This is Harry after a hard day of playing outside and with the Big Girls.

I had to move some of the pillows in order to find him. I will miss the Little Guy!

I think he gets adopted this week. Ha! His new owner is getting a Spoiled-Rotten kitten. Maybe mama will straighten him out.

Other Things

Belated Happy Birthday to both my sisters, Big Sis, 29 (give or take 32 years) and Little Sis, 29 (give or take 20 years)

I went out to dinner with an old friend on Saturday. It was quite a suprise that he asked, but we had a good time. I don't think it was a date, we'll see, but I certainly enjoyed it for what is was, someone to spend time with.

I'm the same age as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince and Caroline Kennedy. Hhuumm...
