Dark Shadows

Remember that show? Pretty cool, in a kitschy sorta way. That kinda describes my mood today. I didn't take April to the vet yesterday, so I'll try to leave work early to take her in... I'm worried that now it's about me, I'm just waiting for a good time for me.

On a brighter note, Happy Birthday, DiDi!

Quality of Life
She's definately not suffering, she's curled up on the couch with some nice, warm blankets, and I've been giving her treats. She has NOT lost her appetite. She's not moving much and just sleeps. So why is this different from regular cat behavior? It just is. She feels frail and is having trouble breathing, but she still faintly purrs when I pet her, sometimes. The stress of this is hurting me.

Other Thoughts

Let's see, Bush and buddies are attempting to broker a Middle East peace and attempting to establish a better AIDS prevention program. Isn't this Too Little, Too Late? I guess the man wants to establish himself in history as a Good President. Didja hear that he's nagging Congress to give more money to the War Effort and vows to veto any bill that doesn't fund the war. He says that the Democrats are spending too much money domestically. What? Let's fund Iraq and build their infastructure based on democratic principles that they don't want and ignore our infastructure. Makes sense to me.

Lots of talk lately about earlier primaries in some states. Is this a good thing? NO, I say, that means we have to listen to this crap from both sides longer. They've already been campaigning now for what, 20 years for the 2008 election? Then there's all the money the politicians are wasting on ads and stuff. Couldn't this be better spent on almost anything?

Gee, I can't seem to find anything good to talk about, I guess my cat situation is coloring my attitude. Sorry.
