Unleashed the Demon

I KNEW this would happen, that's why I've avoided it for years. I bought my new MP3 Player on Saturday, and I've already filled it up. And last night I discovered a webpage with Free Podcasts! So many podcasts, jewelry making podcasts, cat podcasts, sci-fi podcasts, the list is endless. I also ran across some casts from lectures at universities. I can now listen to lectures on Computers, Business, Sociology, History, Art, English, all sorts of stuff. I'm in heaven.

But now, my MP3 Player doesn't work. It could be the ear buds don't work any more as I've twisted the cord too much (or the cat chewed on it, which I believe may be the True Problem) but I can't listen to any of these great lectures.

I also figured out how to logon to the Music Store. I'm still trying to figure out when I have to pay or when I can just listen, but I spent hours playing with that.

Didja Hear the One About:
A famous TV host (I can't remember who) was interviewing Angelina Jolie and asked about her daughter Shiloh Pitt, but got his tongue twisted and asked about Piloh Sh*t. Too funny!

Christmas Parties
I just got the Invitation to my boss' Christmas Party at his house. I haven't done that in a long time, my group at Bell South didn't have parties, and the folks at the grocery store worked up until Christmas, so this will be a new one. I'll be showing up with my gay friend and maybe his partner. Never let it be said I don't keep interesting company!

Movie Watch
Seen the trailers for 'Sweeney Todd' with Johnny Depp? I gotta go see that! For those who know me, Johnny Depp is one of my favorites, and when he's got Long Hair, I'm all over it! And he sings in this movie! I've seen almost every one of his movies and they're all different. Some were Great, some good and some, well, sucked. ('From Hell' was aptly named) This one is another one with Tim Burton, who did a very cute 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Corpse Bride' (again with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter). It also stars another of my favorites, Alan Rickman (ooooh, he's got a podcast!). There's something sexy about an Englishman with Bad Teeth and an overbite. So I may not be there Opening Day, but I'll get to see it!
