It's tough getting into the 8-5 routine and I just don't have it down yet.
Routine
OK, so I thought I'd gotten everything together last night, but NOOOOooooo. I got up on time, got dressed, and was running just a little late for the bus when I looked, and couldn't find my bus pass. I tore up the place. I also had purchased a small clutch bag to use instead of my purse because my carrying bag is so heavy. I couldn't find any place to put my lipstick or my jewelry as I was going to finish getting dressed on the bus. I was also taking a few extra snacks in to work so I won't have to worry about that in the future, so my bag was stuffed. I frantically looked for the bus pass and Never Found it. I drove to the Marta station and paid for a round trip ticket (plus .50 more for some reason..) When I get to work, I realized in the frenzy I'd left my milk at home so there was no coffee for me. God I hate that. I walked to the nearest coffee shop anyway. Tonite, I look for my card.
Weekend
Beautiful weekend! The weather is FINALLY cooling down. I worked in the garden on Saturday, cutting weeds and cleaning things a bit. I'm definately hiring a landscaping firm to do my hill. I need it de foliaged and ground up to plant liriope, and it's too much for me by myself. Sunday I just piddled, doing some grocery shopping, some window shopping. And last night, I spent 2 (count 'em, 2) hours trying to fit together some 'O'-rings for a chain maille bracelet. 2 hours! I guess that's the Geek in me.
50 More Years
Anyone else see our illustrious Leader speaking last week. What a mess he's gotten us into! And will we ever get out? He did hit the nail on the head when he said that our 'mission' over there was to make sure that the Oil didn't get into Arab hands. (Not in so many words, but he did mention keeping control of oil). So there you have it, this wasn't to get Bin Laden, it wasn't to set the Iraqui's free, it was to maintain control of the oil. Now, we can't let some petty enemy regime control our precious oil, but we HAVE to find some other means of energy so we don't have to keep killing innocent people.
Then There's OJ
And I was hoping he'd go away. Heh, I guess he WILL be going away for quite awhile. More proof that the athlete mentality never goes away. Except OJ, Johnny Cochran isn't around to help you this time!
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
* This, too is satire, or atleast humor, but I'm sure not everyone will get it.

One comment about OJ. Karma is a bitch, isn't it? Let him rot in jail.
