Today was a bit better, I felt a bit more 'in control.' Whatever that means!

Strike One
Got home last night and looked for my MARTA card. I remember seeing it sometime this weekend, but it wasn't there. I took everything off the counters and still no card. So I bit the bullet and spent another $5 + fare on another card. I guess MARTA needs more money and can't raise fares (it's racist, don't you know) so they'll get you however they can. $5 for a Breeze card (which is easy to lose) or a .50 surcharge on breeze tickets. What a racket. And they don't improve service. I wish I had some of that.

Saw this in the Washington Post (but somehow I missed it in the AJC...hummm) Atlanta and DC are tied for second behind San Francisco/Oakland for worst traffic in the country. At least we're tops in something!
