Is one hump really better than another??!!
Bussin It
Today was One Of Those Days... to start. I was pushing to leave on time and I was out the door and walking up the road when I saw a bus drive down Lawrenceville Highway. I was too far away to run, so I just decided I could wait 20 minutes till the next one came. So I sat down at Brusters to 'rest' and calm down a bit when I looked up and behold! it was my bus at the stop light. Evidently I didn't miss my bus! Thankfully the bus driver stopped just before the stop so I could climb on.
I get to the rail station OK, get on the train and I have to stand up. The bus had only one person on it when I got on, but the train was loaded. The driver said over the loudspeaker that she was late and there was another train right behind her, so at the next station, I got off to wait for the next train. She lied. The next train was a good 10 minutes behind her, and, of course I got off at an underground station. But I got a seat. Got to work and took a bit of a detour just to get some McDonald's Iced Coffee, which on a hot day works very well. I stopped by there on Tuesday but they couldn't get the iced coffee machine to work, so I had to go elsewhere. Today, I ordered a large and they didn't have one, so the arrogantly tossed a dollar my way with a small coffee.
Something about a fast food joint in the city is disturbing. I've been asked for money, I've been witness to some folks really down on their luck and I've been treated rudely. Ahhh, city life. So I guess I just won't go to a fast food joint in the city. There's a REAL coffee house about a block away, so maybe that's where I'll go.
So before breakfast this morning, I'd had a walk, short jog, drama, indignation and satisfaction. And I was still more relaxed when I got to the office than when I'd drive.
Traffc What?
I read in the paper today that Cobb County wants to experiment with traffic circles at some congested intersections. !?? That is a Very Bad Idea. Traffic circles seem to be a free-for-all no matter where they are located, but here in the ATL, where driving on the Interstate is a free-for-all, is just stupid. These are the same drivers who want the camera's that catch red light runners taken down because they collect too much money. (Duh! Try stopping at the red light, bozo!) This will only increase insurance policies and accidents.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I love traffic circles..... but they are probably a very bad idea. I'd love to see the Atlanta drivers try to figure them out.
I drive through one everyday on the way home...they can't figure them out. Until people here learn what to do at a stop light flashing yellow let's not confuse them more.
yes, some humps really are better than others
