Could life be anymore interesting?? The most interesting thing that I saw this weekend was 'The March of the Penguins'. At least they have a life! LOL!
Wine Event
My sister and I attended the Vintage Virginia festival this weekend at Bull Run Regional Park. Very nice setting, lots of vineyards, good music, I met some of her friends, we had fun! It was VERY hot and humid, so it wasn't real conducive to drinking wine. As I learned last summer, it CAN be too hot to drink. We had fun.
The Kitties
The kitties are fitting in just fine. April sleeps on my bed all day, and sometimes comes out to visit. When she ventures out into the rec room, she manages to eat Foxy's food and then run away. Remy sleeps on the chair in the living room, or sits on a table and looks out the window. I felt sorry for her skinny butt sitting on that hard table, so I got a soft towel that she sits on. Miss Katrina is Home. She does whatever she wants, crawls on the furniture, sleeps on the recliner, sits on the dining room table, walks on the counter tops. Mom doesn't like this, but what can ya do? She sleeps with my parents (in their big, roomy bed) and has discovered some new hiding places. In the drawer where I keep my clothes, she's figured out how to climb up the back and snuggle in. I went to get something out of the top drawer and was startled to find myself being watched! She also fits under the other recliner in the living room. She's found a way to scrunch herself up and sleep under the chair. I walked by the other day, and this cat's butt and back legs flopped out from behind the chair, to be followed by her front legs and head. It really looked like the chair had given birth. Her new spot, that we discovered this morning, is the linen closet, in the bottom. Mom went to get some paper towels, and there she was, all spread out watching her.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
