I decided to make the trip earlier, so here I am in DC, the most powerful city in the world. OK, so it's only Annandale, but you get the idea.
Driving and driving and driving
I left yesterday around 9:30am and only stopped a few times for pit-stops, to rearrange the kitties and to eat. It was a nice, sunny day and I listened to 'The Davinci Code' on the way up. The kittes rode very nicely, very quiet and calm. They're still quite pissed at me, but they will get over it. The traffic got real bad just north of Richmond. It was crowded and we stopped sometimes all the way up to DC. I had to play with a pig transport, I'd get behind it, then I'd pass it and traffic would slow and it got infront of me again. It was kinda funny, when the truck slowed to a stop, there would be lots of pig-noses sticking out from the holes. The smell wasn't very pretty.
Health Report
Daddy seems to be fine, he's moving slowly and he's very tired. I think my mom didn't feel too good being alone without transportation. She didn't sleep too well last night, and neither did Daddy. Or me for that matter. I'm in a twin bed here, when I'm used to a queen bed at home. The kitties fell out of bed a few times last night, but they'll learn. I'm thinking about getting a local cell phone so they don't have to call long-distance. We'll only program it with doctors phone numbers and other important numbers. They won't use it, I will.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
