Cats Know No Boundries

SSDD... Some things never change! And sometimes that's a good thing...

Health Report
Daddy went to his family doctor today for the first time since all this started happening. He's as confused as we are about all the medicine and stuff. Seems the Arrythmia Center is playing a power game by cancelling all of daddies medicine and prescribing their own. Some do the same thing, some don't. So his family physician adjusted his dose and we have to go back on Monday. Daddy is still dizzy, has headaches and shortness of breath, and he's a nasty, hateful old man. I guess one thing at a time.

The Kitties New Adventures
My cats know no bounds. There are no closed doors in my house, they have the run of the joint. I guess you could say they run the house and I'm just the food guy (or gal, they don't know the difference!). Now we're home, Mom has issues with free-range cats. They aren't allowed on the table or counter tops and she's not real keen on them on her bed. Last night, around 11pm, Katrina got the 'Cat Crazies' and just started running from room to room. All cat people know this phenomenon, they just take off and run into a room, touch something and take off again to another room. The door to their bedroom wasn't closed completely, so Miss Katrina just busted thru the door and jumped on the foot of their bed. My mom immediately yells 'Come get your cat!!!'. Miss K was satisfied with her running around and had no intention of leaving, they've got the big bed! I had to go and get the kitty, and bring her into my room, where she only stayed until I put her down. Off she went, to other open doors and more adventures. I'm sure she made it into their bedroom again, but they were asleep and never noticed.

I've also stated on many occasions that Miss Katrina has an oral fixation, she's always chewing stuff. She destroys toilet paper, plastic wrapping, cork board, rubber bands left laying around. So far she hasn't chewed anything! I must consult my Kitty Psych books to figure out what this is all about....
