Seems like I get a lot of those.
Paving stones
I have a lovely path from the street to the front door that had become overgrown with grass and weeds, so I decided to remove the stones, widen the walkway a few inches and put down landscaper fabric to keep the grass from inside the stones. I though it would be easy. Hah! I pulled the pavers up on Saturday, then went and played on Sunday. I bought the smaller pavers yesterday and cut the fabric and started my 'project'. I could replace 1/2 the walkway in less than an hour, but just one little thing is off, so I have to start all over. The larger pavers are 16"x16", and the problem is just a small angle. I don't have time as I have to work, and lifting the pavers and all will hurt my back, so standing up for 7 hours won't be easy. So Thursday is my next day off, and I'll finish the project then. Even in the rain.
Fruitless effort
Sunday I also mowed the lawn. That is my excuse for raking leaves, just mow them over and blow the mulch onto the flowers. The lawn looked nice, for about 10 minutes. Now it's once again covered with leaves. I'll wait till spring.
There's a lot of frustration in owning a home.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
