Rainy Days and Mondays...

always get me down.. So the song goes. But today is just gross, rainy and dark, but not too cold. We need the rain, I planted all my bulbs and pansies last week, so it's all good.

Books on Tape
I think today I'll go up to the library and check out some books on tape. I've been talking about doing that for awhile, but have never gotten around to it. I have rented books on tape before and really enjoyed them. For a long drive, they can't be beat. But buzzing around the house listening to the radio, I could be 'expanding my mind' and listening to a book.

A Question
How many of you readers have a Library Card? I've experienced an incident recently where a friend of mine claims she can't get a library card as the address on her drivers license is old and she doesn't want to drive to the library nearest her old address. Obviously she's never gotten a library card. That's one of the first things I do when I move to a new home, get a library card. I got thru spells, where I check out lots of books, don't read most of them and have to return them, but doing research, using their computers, and just getting out of the house are some reasons to have a library card. Library cards and registering to vote are pretty important, IMHO.

What to do today?
Since it's Really raining, I guess I'll attempt the re-caulking the bath tub. I've been saying I'll do that for a few weeks now, but since I've gotten all the tools I need (I think) I just have to start. By the time I was ready to start yesterday, it was late afternoon, and you have to let the caulk dry about 24 hours. I knew I'd be taking a shower this morning, so I procrastinated into leaving it for today. Now it's Today. So I'll be in the bathroom....
