Of course it's warmer today, I have to wear business clothes. When you get used to wearing t-shirts and shorts, dressing up is a big hassle.
GNO
I went to a Girls Night Out last night. No, not the kind with the teddies and pillow fights and doing each others toes, we sat around and drank and ate. I don't usually do GNO's, this one is an exception. I'm not in a relationship, but seems like several couples have parted ways. Sad to see that, the end of anything is sad, but these women are bright and can survive. Thanks Martha for the lovely evening and the camera.
Digital Camera
Got my paws on one last night, and I'm still trying to figure it out. I guess I have to read the directions. 'True programmers don't read manuals!'
Job Fair
I have to make this short as I'm off to a Job Fair today. Not sure what to expect, it is sponsered by Dice.Com so there will be techy jobs available. Back In The Day, when I lived in DC and attended Job Fairs, they would take up 3 floors in a hotel. So many companies were looking for so many people! Everywhere you looked, there would be someone hawking their company, taking your resume. You'd have to take a shopping cart full of resumes to give away. I know this won't be that large, let's hope the companies number in the double digits.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
