Ahh, the Start of A New Week

Summer is back, let's hope the humidity stays away.

Weekend Update
Shakespeare on Friday was Fun! We discovered the bar/restaurant next door to the Tavern was open before and after the performance, so we checked them out. Django's was a really cool place, with a great deck out back. But somewhere around 11pm, the DJ's started and the noise got pretty loud. Out back you were still able to talk, and there was no cigarette smoke, so it was cool. After I left there, I planned on going down Peachtree Street to the Black Bear Tavern to meet up with some friends. Naturally, Peachtree Street was impassable, bumper to bumper traffic, moving at a snails pace. I ended up going up West Peachtree and stumbling on the Tavern. Turns out some of the problem with Peachtree Street was the fact that at 7am on Saturday morning, they imploded a large building near the Shakespeare Tavern. So after 'playing' darts, I got home about 3am. I hate when that happens.
Saturday was spent at the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University, for National Museum Day. What a cool place that was! The mummies, the Roman Villas how cool. I just may go back...

No More About the Kitties
I spent most of the weekend trying to keep Miss K away from the cork board for the jewelry show and the kitty litter box that she so loves to destroy. I hid one ontop of the other on the washing machine, but she got in there and chewed them both. When she's not doing that, she's in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper and biting the edges. It's just like having a toddler around the house, except that she's not THAT destructive. But at night, when she curls up in my arms to sleep, it all kinda makes it worth it.

Digital Camera
I made reference on this page about needing a digital camera and low and behold, I've had 2 offers! Two of my friends have extra cameras they are willing to give me. How nice is that?! Then I can build my webpage for jewelry, and post pictures of the kitties. Aren't you lucky??!

Job Hunt
Nothing, nada. There is a Job Fair on Wednesday, so I guess I'll be going to that, I'm going to Publix today to apply for a job. I had an interesting episode with a headhunter on Friday. She wasn't the Account Manager, she was the assistant, I guess, but she called me after I sent her my resume and asked for more information. She had such a strong accent I couldn't understand what she wanted, and she couldn't understand what I was asking. We eventually figured it out and all is well, but I have problems with this. I'm not dissing immigrants, but if a company is hiring someone to deal with the American public, they should have no problem communicating.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I think the traffic was just crazy people out cruising....... if I would have known the people in the cars in the other lane, I would have thought I was back in high school. And, you were out until 3AM, you are such a partier, I wish I could stay out like that, but that drive to OTP makes it tough!!
