Another Lazy Weekend
Again, I did nothing. Actually I did a little bit of cleaning, a little bit of reading, not much of anything. I went to a Welcome Home party on Friday put on by my friend Jill who just got back from a summer in Colorado. I got to see lots of old friends. Then Saturday, Lynne invited me to go to a party with her an Marty in Alpharetta, a fund raiser. Sounded good, but I didn't go, I didn't feel like being charming that night. It was hot and muggy, I hadn't slept well at all on Friday night, so I stayed home. And I blew off another friend last night. I am such a Loser.
Drastic
I did manage to color my hair on Saturday. I'm now Medium Copper Brown, much like my real color. I was on the internet looking for the nearest Supercuts yesterday when my hairdresser called and said he was bored waiting for the cable company to come fix his cable. I was very tempted to go over and get my haircut, but I don't want to get involved with that crap, so I didn't. I'd like to do some streaks, and I bought the stuff a professional would use. I looked online at the product website to find out how long to leave the processor on, but no luck. This stuff strips the color out. I don't want white, I want gold or even bronze or copper, so I'm guessing 15 minutes? If anyone has done some hightlighting, please give me a clue... I can always color it again, and who sees me?? Of course, when I start walking around with Beauty School Mistake hair, that will be when I get all my job interviews...
Movie Review
No movies this weekend, I've got 'Amilie' to watch, but I'm not up for a subtitled movie. I did try to watch a really bad movie about the punk/new wave scene in Manchester, England in the 1970's, but just couldn't get into it. I watched 'America's Most Wanted' instead, which gives you some idea about the movie. Next up is the first season of HBO's 'Deadwood'.
Cat Camera
I must go and invest in another disposable camera for those unplanned 'photo-ops'. I caught my 2 kitties April and Miss K curled up together on a chair on the front porch. The other chair was empty, so I guess they wanted it this way. They aren't litter mates so this is unusual. Most cats are solitary creatures, except Miss K, who I believe thinks she's a dog...

What color was Bozo's hair??
Maybe you should mess up your hair "by accident", that might make the job calls start coming in..... I'm all about the reverse psychology. A few years back I told Allan that if I bought the plane tickets to Colorado for our vacation, that would make the Atlanta Fire thing happen, and it did. Wasted $400+, but he got the job he wanted after over a year of waiting (they said all the ppwk was in and approved, it was just a matter of time......) I think that was even worse than looking for a job, knowing you are on the list, you just don't know where you are on the list, or if they will ever get to your number.
