Rain is coming...

just in time to dampen the weekend. Oh well. Get those plants in the ground!! Is it too early to plant pansies? The selection at Home Depot didn't impress me too much, I think it's still kinda early.

Late Nights
I'm trying to get back into a 'work schedule' by getting up early and getting started early. I used to be a morning person, getting up by 7:30am on weekends, but I can't seem to get out of bed before the crack of 9, no matter how early I get to bed. Last night was a late one, I actually watched Craig Ferguson's monologue. I like his show, he's a pretty funny guy. He does a fabulous imitation of Michael Caine, but it comes on after Letterman, so that's late. I tried to get up about 7:30 this morning, but Miss K curled up in my arms and Remy crawled up on my tummy, so I went back to sleep.

Job Hunt
I got 2 phone calls from head hunters, telling me they are presenting my resume to companies. One head hunter got my resume from an online job site, so it pays to put your resume there, I guess. Anyway, at least it's some activity, so it was a shot in the arm. I did send my resume to a temp agency, but haven't heard a word. I thought they'd put you on their list and call you as needed. I'm not sure why they wanted to see my resume, obviously I'm over-qualified to be a receptionist, but I'll do that for some money. It's funny what you can do as long as you know there is a finate amount of time involved.
