Another Beautiful Day!

The temperature is lower, the humidity is lower, the sun is bright, what a great day! I don't have all the fans blowing in my bedroom at night anymore.

Good News
The vet called yesterday and said they got back the results of the biopsy run on the growth on Remy's face and it is benign! He gave me some medical name which I think is just a 'mole'.

A Trouble Maker
I guess this good weather has gotten to Miss K, too, she's become a very naughty kitty! (Like she wasn't before!) She has an annoying habit of reaching her little paw inside the handles of a 40lb box of kitty litter and pulling the plastic out and chewing it. This also leads to cat litter being spread all over the place. I think it's like popping the bubbles on bubble wrap, you just can't help it. When I buy some of kitty litter, I can't set it on the floor as she will get into it. So I put it up on the counter until I can safely hide it.
I purchased some 12"x12" cork boards to cover with black fabric and display some jewelry on. I set this ontop of the kitty litter box. When I woke up this morning, she'd chewed a corner of one of the corkboards AND gotten into the kitty litter. I had to hide the corkboards and I moved the cat litter to a bar stool sitting in the corner. Just in the last 10 minutes, I've had to remove the decorative grapes I had hanging by the window because she was chewing on them, move the cat litter as she crawled from the window to the top of the litter box and was reaching inside. She was also laying in the window, rubbing her head against a stick I left in the African violet I bought. What a mess! And here I thought she'd slept in my room all night!
She also has a habit of destroying rolls of toilet paper. She gets on top of the toilet and attacks the TP roll. She doesn't unroll them, she bites off the edges and then unrolls them. When she's done, the toilet paper bears a resemblence to lace and I have a pile of remnents of TP. Since I can't keep all the doors to the bathroom closed anymore (due to mildew and mold) I have to be on my toes. The other solution is to leave the toilet seats up. Yes, a woman said that. Or cover the TP roll. There are dispensers like that, so I guess I'll have to start looking!

Jewlery Making
This is what I've been doing almost everynight, finishing up some jewelry. I'm enjoying the hell out of it! I need to get a digital camera and get some pictures so I can build a webpage. I'm also thinking of writing an inventory program to help me keep track of all this stuff. Once a programmer, always a programmer.
