My How Time Flies

It's already Wednesday and I haven't gotten anything accomplished. Darn.

Old Friends
I got an email from an old college buddy last week. She lives in Elkhart, Indiana. I went to visit her up there twice, the first time when she got married, and the second when the kids were in junior high school. Not much happening in Elkhart, or anywhere in the surrounding areas. She's had quite the life, wrong choices, bad things happening, but she seems to have gotten things straightened out and has been doing well these last few years. Seems both kids dropped out of school and are partying around the country while Mom raises the illegitimate son. I guess this is Normal now days. Funny thing is, she will probably do a better job raising the grandkid than she did her own kids. Her life is much more stable now and she has help. She raised the first 2 kids on her own and it was a mess.

What's up with this?
I seem to be attracting the Wrong Element lately, people with major problems. I don't need that right now, but I guess it's God's way of saying 'You're not doing so badly' or He's saying 'Watch out, this Could Be You!'. Huummmm...

Exercise
Haven't been to the gym since Saturday, so today is the day. I was too busy on Sunday, Monday I didn't get motivated till too late and yesterday I was ready to go but got a call from My Hairdresser to come get him from the Crisis Center. So I'm not answering the phone this afternoon, and I'm going to the gym.

Job Hunt
Still nothing, more resumes sent to the Black Hole called Human Resources.
