Another Day in Hell, er, Atlanta

This heat is too much. Oh, wait, it's not the Heat, it's the Humidity. But if I lived in Arizona I'd complain about that.

No Drama
I haven't heard anything, so I'm assuming No news is good news and letting it ride. My Hairdresser will call when he needs something.

Movie Review
I watched an interesting movie on Friday, 'Dead Man', starring (of course) Johnny Depp. It was an interesting movie, a Johnny Depp movie. It was the story of an accountant (Johnny Depp) moving Out West to take a job with some company. When he got there, the job didn't exist and through a series of Bad Mistakes he becomes a fugitive. He meets an Indian named 'Nobody' and travels with him. He's also got a price on his head and is being hunted by 3 bounty hunters. Filmed in black and white, directed by Jim Jarmusch with a soundtrack by Neil Young. It had lots of interesting people in cameo roles, John Hurt, Iggy Pop, Billy Bob Thornton, Gabriel Burn, to name a few. It was a strange, funny, slow movie that made you think. Sometimes you thought 'Why am I wasting my time watching this movie?' and sometimes you thought 'That's pretty funny.' The music was a very minimalist loud, fuzz guitar and after about 1/2 hour, it really started to wear on you. Jim Jarmusch also directed 'Coffee and Cigarettes' which I thought was pretty good, and this movie was in the same style. Iggy Pop in drag is pretty good, especially when he's reading the Bible for the blessing for dinner. And the fate of the 3 bounty hunters.

Job Hunt
Oh my God, we've had some movement! I had an interview way back in June and I thought it went very well, but the company had some internal issues and pulled all contracts and then I read they had posted a loss and were being sold. Evidently they're back in business and were interested in me again. I don't know if I have to do the entire interview process again or what, but this is the one interview I really warmed up to. Even though the job is in Alpharetta, I would commute for this opportunity. Keep your fingers crossed!

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
