When Nothing Happens

It's tough to post when nothing happens. I guess I had the 'down' you get from an emotional high, but I did nothing yesterday. Again.

Points of Interest
Not sure what was up, but I didn't turn on the AC yesterday or the day before. It's been relatively cool, but the humidity was low. So when you do nothing, you can keep the AC off.

I watched 'Million Dollar Baby' last night with Clint Eastwood and Hillary Swank. It was a good movie, but for some reason I had a hard time understanding what they were saying. Clint Eastwood sounded like he had a gritty rag in his mouth. Maybe the sound level was different to make him sound better, but I could barely understand Morgan Freeman either. Anyway, good movie, but I could feel no sympathy for anyone, as I am not a boxing fan and don't understand why anyone would make a living around beating someone else up. I guess the best way to portray such damaged human beings was to put them in the boxing arena, but I really didn't care what happened to anyone.

Next Up: 'A Mighty Wind'. I'm a new Netflix member, so I'll be catching up on all the movies I haven't seen. Already I've seen 'Crash', 'Hotel Rwanda', 'Walk the Line' and 'Squid and the Whale'. They've all been good movies, but I especially liked 'Crash'. 'The Squid and the Whale' with Jeff Daniels is an interesting flick. I don't care for Jeff Daniels best known movies,('Dumb and Dumber') but this was SO different. It was a good study in the effect parents and divorce can play on their kids. I'm glad I've never had to go thru that, on either side.

Coffee
Didja hear that coffee prevents cirrhosis of the liver? Maybe a Wine Bar/Coffeeshop makes more sense than I thought!
