What to Do Today?

So it's not raining today, so I guess I have to do something other than sit on the couch with a cat on my lap...

Movie Review
Last night it was 'Tailor of Panama' with Geoffrey Rush, Pierce Brosnan and Jamie Lee Curtis. Pretty cool. Not sure if it was a comedy or drama, but it was entertaining. (That sounds weird!) I won't give the plot away, but it was either the story of a rogue spy and his efforts to get laid and paid, or a poor guy who needed money and made up stories to get paid, or both. Hhuummm...

Last night, I happened to tune into 'On Being John Malkovich', just to refresh my memory. I read the blurb on Comcast and it mentioned that screenwriter Charlie Kaufman wrote the script. Charlie Kaufman was also the character Nicholas Cage played in 'Adaptation', and in that movie they were filming 'On Being John Malkovich'. OK, so sue me if this wasn't a news flash, but I didn't know that. The only time in my whole life I've ever seen all the Academy Award Nominations before the presentation was when I was a senior in High School.

Vote in the Primaries on July 18!!
For all y'all who live in Dekalb county District 4, get out and vote Cynthia McKinney OUT OF OFFICE!!!! There's also the race between Mark Taylor and Cathy Cox.

Job Hunt
Just got a call from another Head Hunter about a job I applied for. They want to present me to a Software company as a candidate. Cool. They also asked my permission to see if I fit any other positions they may have. Duh?! What am I supposed to say 'No, I'm sorry, I only want to apply to the job you're calling about'?

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
