So Much To Do, So Little Time

Even for me, who has no schedule or no demands, this is a short week. I can't believe tomorrow is already Thursday! I have to get ready to visit the Parental Units next week, which means I have to pack, clean, and prepare to be gone.

Visiting the Folks
It's always a dread of mine. My Dad knows exactly what buttons to push to p*ss me off, and believe me, he does. I hate being like that. My mantra that I recite to myself at all times is 'Choose your arguement.' I'm going to get to the National Gallery of Art, the Zoo (I get to see the baby panda!), I want to ride on the W&OD bike trail (a linear park, like the Silver Comet Trail), maybe hash once. But what I'll end up doing is hanging out with the parents, bickering. I love visiting DC!

Job Hunt
I actually got a call back from one of the many resumes I sent out. I have to decipher the phone call to figure out what he's really talking about, his accent is so heavy. As best I can tell, it's a contract job with the Georgia State Government. I guess we'll figure it out. If I can get past this inteview, I suppose I'll be doing good.

Haircut
Tonite, I'll be getting my hair cut and highlighted. My hairdresser will be doing both me and my friend Lynn. And I'm sure there will be cocktails involved. Then tomorrow night I've been invited to a Cuban cookout. Yummy, roasted cubans! I've heard they're great with a little rum!

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
