I get tired of my Subject titles, so that pretty much sums up everything. Things and Stuff.
Zacarias Moussaoui
(Cut and paste is a wonderful thing. I couldn't have spelled his name for nothing.) He's the alleged 9/11 bomber who missed his flight and he's on trial for this in Virginia. He's now in the sentencing phase and they released the tapes from Flight 93, the one that crashed in PA. They are trying to decide whether he deserves to die or not. I say NO. Don't kill the SOB, that would give him martyr status and Al Queida wants him to die. Let the SOB rot away in jail, cleaning toilets instead of dying and finding those 40 virgins. I know it would be cheaper to kill the sucker, but I think it rubs salt into whatever wounds we've inflicted.
Crusades
I watched a show on History International about the Medieval Crusades last night. Yes, I know my life is too exciting. But I found it very interesting, relating to today's 'Crusade'. The original Crusade was started as a way to keep French nobleman from killing other French nobleman. (French aristocracy doesn't seem to be very altruistic) So the French, German, English and other European empires decided to wrest Jerusalem from the Evil Muslims. All in the name of religion.
And this can relate to the issues we're having over in the Middle East now, it was all started over religion. The Muslim Extremists decided they didn't like the way we did things, so they did what their interpretation of their religion says to do : Kill Them.
And then there are the Baptist Extremeists who kill abortion doctors because their interpretation of their religion says to. (Those are 2 words you don't read in a sentence very often)
While I'm on a Roll
If the US has a War Against Terrorism, why don't we bomb the Irish? They've been terrorizing England (our Ally) for years.
Stranger than Fiction
I was driving to work this morning on the biggest of NASCAR routes (285) and I was in the slow lane. Yes, I was in the slow lane, to get passed the trucks in the other lanes. Sometimes you can make better time doing that. So I'm cruising along with no traffic in my lane until I came to the merge with traffic from Glenwood. Several cars were getting on to 285, including a school bus. It was an easy merge as no one slowed down too much, but I had to get into the next left lane as this guy was tailgating me. I had to move to a faster lane to avoid a tailgater in the slow lane. Whatever.
Life is What I Make It
Maybe I will make something happen tonite that will make my life more interesting. Doubt it, not planning on going anywhere, and the excitement isn't at my house. Who knows?
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I firmly believe that as long as there is no danger of escape or parole, criminals like Moussoui should be sentenced to a life of being someone's bitch in prison, or worse, being everyone's bitch in prison. And actually, with the appeals process, executing someone usually turns out to be more expensive.
