Today I can only publish, not edit. So in my last post, I spelled the title wrong, it is Envelope. Sorry if I offended all you English majors and teachers. I'm sure I'll offend many others in the course of my life.
Current Reading
Now that I'm a woman of leisure, I can start reading again. So my latest book is 'How To Shit In The Woods' by Kathleen Meyer. Real title. And real subject. It's all about the Art of crapping in the woods, and all the ecological implecations. Written in a very light hearted way (how can one be serious with a title like that?) it's pretty good reading, not so much at breakfast.
Next, I might tackle the biography of Alexander Hamilton or finish the bio of Christopher Wren. Or maybe finish 'Project Management for Dummies'. That would be the best avenue to do something that makes me more useful, but I like the other ideas better. If you have any suggestions for good reads, let me know. At the Book Exchange dinner last week, I came away with Jack London 'Call of the Wild' and 'White Fang'. I read some Jack London in high school and really liked it. I've still got my pirate book I haven't finished yet... On my last unemployment stint, I read over a dozen books in a year. Pretty good for someone who took over a year to read one book due to work issues.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
