Happy St Patrick's Day

I'm not Irish, my family descends from England, Germany and France (long, long time ago!), but everyone's Irish on St Patrick's Day! Believe it or not, I missed the History of St Patrick's Day on the History Channel. I'd like to go to the Hash Happy Hour tonite, but if it will probably be a complete Cluster and I'm not sure I'm up for that. Friday nights are tough, I'm unwinding from the week and I'm at the point in my life where I like quiet and calm, not loud and rowdy.

Chores
I've got some chores for this weekend, I ordered parts for my cabana and they are in! So I've got to straighten up my deck and put the cabana back in order. It's a great place to sit and enjoy outside.
And since I'm doing that, I will have to plant some flowers to make everything pretty. I used to have some outdoor parties, I'll have to start that again. I enjoy having people over, and it forces me to get my house in shape.

I also have to work on the resume, do my taxes and strategize. But I'll probably do all the work around the house and go orienteering on Sunday with some friends. I've never done that, it's a bit more involved than hashing, but I think it's very similar. Without the drinking and nudity.
