Random Thoughts, Kitty Porn and Other Stuff

Let's start with Kitty Porn: Naked Kitties. The Two Faces of Remy, Coiffed and Uncoiffed.

She is much more comfortable in the summer with all that hair cut off. She hates it, I have to pick her up all the time because she's SO cute!

Random Thoughts

I called PAWS Atlanta and found out that Harry is still there, so I'm going to go see him tomorrow if I can. He had an eye infection when I dropped him off, so I guess they can't do anything to him until that clears up. Poor guy.

Check this out: http://www.snotr.com/video/1072 . This is SO funny! Watch the entire thing, you'll love it!

While in DC, my sister and I went to a Happy Hour at the Mayflower Hotel. Yes, the one where all the Important Politico's go. We had a blast. Small crowd, mostly middle-aged or older, but very interesting and very funny. We also checked out a restaurant in Georgetown with the 'hopes' of hob-knobbing with the elite after Tim Russert's funeral, but they went to the Kennedy Center instead of dinner. (Sick, but Oh Well) We ended up at a bar (Clyde's of Georgetown) where we used to drink Back In The Day. They sent us to their Back Bar which used to be a favorite destination, but not so much any more. Polly decided the bathrooms haven't been cleaned since we were there last. We figured we were drinking there long time before our bartender was born. Ouch.

It's Hot and Miserable. Humidity is high and it's gross.

I've been applying to many jobs today. I found a new website: Indeed.com. It consolidates all the other job boards and lists all the jobs. Just another black hole, I fear.

It only cost me about $200 in gas to drive to DC. I remember the day when $12 used to fill up my car. On the way out of town, I filled up at the Hess station in Annandale, where we used to go in High School and get 2 gallons of gas so that our dad's wouldn't know we had cruised around. Gas was .52/ gallon. Ahh, the Good Old Days.

My dad is leaning towards the GOP, I fear. He kept yelling all week : McCain, McCain. Or maybe he was yelling for his cane. My cane, My cane... What do you expect for spending a week with 80-year-olds??

Tomorrow I'm doing my 2 hours with Alzheimer's Association, then off to see Harry. What a full day.?

Hey, Polly, say Hi to BooBoo for me!

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
