Is It Time To Go Home Yet?

Love my job, just a bit slow now. Hopefully it will pick up, soon.

Old Friends, New Friends, and too much Fun
Friday I joined the H5 on the Hill at Piedmont Park. Small turnout, just a few of us, but I met LeighAnn before at Zocalo's for a pitcher of margarita's. There was a GCAP fund-raiser going on across the street, so we watched all the high-brow folks come and go over there. Fun! Saturday I met my friends Barbara and Laura for lunch after their bike ride. While waiting for them to call, I stopped by Tuesday Morning, 'just to look'. I got the call, but I bought some curtains and a rug. Darn. From there, Barb and I went over to visit LA at work. A case of wine later, I go home an rearrange the craft room with the new rug and curtains. It's either one or the other, (rug or curtains), but not both. (It's a decorator thing.)

Sunday I planned on meeting LA and Barbara for brunch, and my friend Susan called. She had borrowed a blouse from me awhile ago, so I asked her if I could have it back. She was thinking about coming over or meeting sometime during the week, but she wanted to meet on Sunday. I asked if she was interested in brunch and the Candler Park Fall Festival and along she came. We met up with Darrin at the Park and went over to his house for some more drinking. Susan and I had to leave early, I had to work and she had a 5 hour interview on Monday. I talked with her yesterday and she feels she aced the interview, except that it took her 1.5 hours to get there, and she Will Not commute that far. Who can blame her?

Paycheck
Got my paycheck on Saturday. I'm still amazed at the amount on the check. The Direct Deposit hasn't kicked in yet, so I'm having to mail the check. That takes time. I don't even have coffee money right now, I have to wait until maybe Thursday(!?) before I have any funds. That sucks.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
