Hump Day

We're closer to Friday than we've been all week. Isn't sad that I live for the weekends? I should enjoy life all week.

Eye Candy
I saw the new Matthew McConaughey movie last night, 'Failure to Launch'. It was cute, I guess. Lots of shirtless shots of McConaughey, a total butt-shot of Terry Bradshaw and, of course, lots of cleavage. The best scene was when the supporting actors tried to revive a mockingbird. There was one scene where we were supposed to feel sorry for Tripp as he had just found out what his parents and his 'girlfriend' had done. I'm sorry, it's hard to have sympathy for this hunky, 35-year-old yatch broker still living with his parents. It was a cute, empty-headed flick with good eye candy. Sometimes that's all one needs... Can't wait for 'Libertine' with Johnny Depp to come out on video.

Refreshing
Last night I met up with some friends for a quick dinner and glass of wine at Atlantic Station before the movie. I really enjoyed it! I don't usually do movies, and I usually don't do these things during the week, so this was shaking my existence.... I've been talking about this rut I'm in, so this was a start. The first time I went to Atlantic Station was soon after it opened and it was a mess. Just to get something to eat was going to take 1 hour. But last night, no wait, no crowd. Parking was only $2, and I got quite a tour of the underground parking lot. Word of advice: Be sure you know where you parked your car! LOL! I captured all the info I needed to find my car, except that the section number was 3 digits, not 2, and I didn't know if I had the first 2 or the last 2. It was an adventure. Actually it didn't take me too long, I took a few wrong turns trying to get out and once I got out it was a bit difficult to figure out where I was. But my life is like that. Take a few U-turns, miss a few turns, it's all good.

Cell Phone Deprived
Guess what?! My cell phone has been missing for at least a week, and I haven't gone thru withdrawals or even had the shakes! It's around my house somewhere, probably in my car. I just haven't gotten around to looking for it. I was thinking of ditching my land-line and only using my cell, but if I keep losing it, I don't think that's such a good idea. That's another concern with getting an IPod. They're so small, I could so easily lose it.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
