Back on Track

or Back in the rut. Whichever way you want to look at it.

I've decided that whatever happens, I'm preparing for something new. If I stay here, I've gotten rid of lots of old stuff, broken, seldom used stuff and I'm ready to start fresh. If I leave, well, that's pretty self-explanatory.

More Dumping
Since yesterday was so nice and the humidity is still low, I did a little work outside. For many reasons, I didn't plant any new flowers this spring. I collected all the dead ones in the pots, which there are many with the serious lack of rain. I threw out old, plastic pots, some broken terracotta pots and just cleaned up my 'potting bench' in the carport. I finally got rid of all the old paint cans (15 at last count!) and I also straigtened up the crawl space. Those trash collectors will earn their $30/hour today!

So today is painting the master bedroom. I can't put it off any more, I need to finish. I'm planning on painting the bathrooms also, but the color I've chosen may be to dark. I've done it before, painting with a different color, I can do it again. The bathrooms had wallpaper on when I moved in, and after trying to get that stuff off, I'll NEVER wallpaper anything. Too much work, easier to paint.

So I'm off to work! Got a few errands to run this morning, then I'm painting. WoooHooo!
