Seems like the only comments I'm getting from this blog is from my family. hhuuummmm. OK girls, you're on notice: Since I'm saving your butts from having to drive to DC almost weekly lately, someone will need to take a road trip with me back to Atlanta to get more clothes among other things and to maybe close the house up more. Now that all the 'drama' is done and everyone is retired and moved, c'mon girls... You Owe Me. ;-)
Health Report
The doctor today was funny. He's got this sardonic grin on his face, and I'm not sure if it's because he can't get over my Dad or he's done with the hospital and all their follies. He's read us the reports the hospital gives him when the patient is released and they say nothing. We can't read the physican's handwriting, and there are so many doctors involved we're all getting confused. He did say that once a person experiences a TIA (see a few days ago), it could happen again, or it won't. And if it does happen again, it could be another TIA, over in a few minutes with no ill effects or it could be The Big One and really be a stroke. There's an even chance for any of this scenario, so this could be a long visit.
My mom hasn't slept well the last few nights, and the doctor noticed it. She said she stays awake listening to my Dad sleep, he has apnea and he stops breathing once in awhile. She said she can't sleep listening to that. The doctor suggested ear plugs. LOL!
Whatever is bothering him is bothering all of us. He's been very quick to jump at me and Mom over nothing and everything. He's not being very nice. God, girls, You Owe Me Alot!
Talk about convenience
Just in the last few weeks, the two houses near us have become vacant. The drug dealers across the street were evicted last week and the next door neighbors tenants moved out a few days ago. The owner, the granddaughter of the folks that I knew lived there isn't sure if she wants to sell or rent. Maybe we could swing a deal and I could rent at a discount. The mortgages on these houses is unreal, so rent will be even worse. There was an adorable home on another block that is for sale, a restored 1920's farm house with barn and corn crib (for storage). It's adorable, but at almost $800,000, a bit out of my price range.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I'm not family - I'll leave you a comment..... Let me know when you come back to ATL, we can get together. Not to rub it in, but we will miss you at the Tavern. Barbara emailed & she is going with me & the folks (I get to experience having my parents visit for the next 4 days.... wish me luck, my dad is going thru prostate cancer treatment, hopefully he isn't too ornery)
what about every birthday, mothers day, fathers day, christmas, thanksgiving and easter I have put in over the last 15 or so years? If a guy can get $54 million for a pair of pants, I should get something to cover the therapy bills :)
