Seems I Jumped the Gun

As soon as I got home from posting yesterday, seems like my Dad had a stroke-like moment. He seems to have forgotten everything, where he was, who he was, and, worst of all, he forgot the cats' name. He was talking all jumbled, moreso than normal. He wanted Mom to call the doctor, but she decided (rightly so) to call 911. We got him to the hospital and they admitted him, but he should be getting out today. He's fine, and was fine, but just for about a 10 minute span he couldn't remember anything or say anything. Seems he had a transient ischemic attack (TIA), which isn't a stroke, but a warning. He will be out today, the doctors would be remiss if they let an 84-year-old-man go home after experiencing this, but this could also be part of his medicine adjustment. The cumadin (blood thinner) he's on could effect this, until we get the dosage correct.

So this puts the non-margarita Jimmy Buffet party at question? Do we go or not? I'll post more later.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

As I advised your babysis, this is more important than the (nonmargarita) Jimmy Buffet Party which was quite a success btw. Being a family oriented motorcycle dealership, we were not going to be responsible for Drinking and getting on bikes. I like to have a cocktail, however, not every occasion has to be a drinking event!
