Friday and the weather is Great!

Yeah, it sucks being me, I've got the day off. I'm running errands today, then walking Stone Mountain or riding my bike somewhere, then off to Happy Hour. Someday I must get outside and massacre my crepe myrtle, but not today!

Britney and Anna Nicole
Both of these issues are coming to an end, at least the first chapter. What will the press sensationalize now? Certainly not important issues, no one buys papers over important issues. No one seems to be interested in important stuff. When I take the paper to the break room at work, the only page that seems to be read is the Sports section. I read the newspaper daily, and I will admit I don't read entire articles, I read the headlines, sometimes a few paragraphs. I enjoy reading the opinion page, letters to the editor, the Metro section and of course Dear Abby. It's always nice to know some folks are worse off than me.
But back to the topic at hand: Britney and Anna, blah, blah, blah. Anna Nicole yaddah, yaddah, yaddah...

History of Rock 'n' Roll
I got absolutely sucked into a series on TV the other night on the History of Heavy Metal. I'm sure this was a repeat, and I missed the first hour, but I did watch parts 2 and 3, from Def Leppard, Quiet Riot and AC/DC to VanHalen and Motley Crue. What a bunch of Wild Children. They interjected interviews with these guys now and then. Can you say Aging Rockers? They interviewed Ronnie Dio, former lead singer for Black Sabbath, and he looks bad, very frail. But in reading a bio page, it says he quit school in 1958, so he's quite the Senior Citizen. Hey, even Metalheads have an ego! I think I'll go buy an Iron Maiden CD....

ISP
I'm currently using a cable TV high-speed internet provider that I don't want to name for legal reasons. I'm thinking about changing to a telephone service because it's cheaper. I've heard that the cable has issues on rainy days, but I've never had problems with my TV reception, so I figured the cable would be the same. I've had some problems, not too many, but enough. And with what they are charging me, I'm thinking of changing. I've heard things about the telephone company ISP, but maybe I'll give it a try. I watch too much TV anyway. (See above).

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

Knock on wood, I've been lucky so far with my cable internet service. Even when I work from home, during the day, I haven't noticed any problems.

I wish I was outside today, I'm almost glad I don't have a window so I can't tell how nice it is :(
