Another Hot Thursday

Miami is cooler temperature-wise than most of the country. Oh my.

Things that P*ss me off

* I almost got hit by another stupid person on their cell phone in traffic. Get over yourselves, folks, hang up and drive!
* Hipocritical politicians
* Job Hunting
* Computer dating
* It's murder to get an abortion, but it's OK to throw away unused embryos.
* Along those same lines, Abortion is murder, but it's OK to send young men and women to war.
* Politicians limiting birthcontrol access to young girls, but not doing anything about the boys (or men) that get them pregnant.
* Race-baiting. It can't always be about race.

* I can't go bike riding by alone anymore. Even the Silver Comet Trail isn't safe.
* Speaking of alone, more scuba divers have died during lobster mini-season by diving alone. Now that is stupid.

See, it's not always about me.

World Trade Center, the movie
It's a free country, and it's OK to make this movie, but I think it's not right to make money off of this subject. It was a horrible thing to happen, not entertainment. Maybe Oliver Stone should have waited a bit longer, but that's what he does, controversial movies.

This will probably piss some people off, but here goes: I don't think the victims of the WTC should have received any government money. They just went to work that day, they had no other agenda. I knew a woman who was driving to work and got killed in an accident, but got no governement money. Are these people being killed in Iraq getting any extra money for getting killed? Methinks that the Republicans should be tagged as 'Cut Tax and Spend' as they seem to be throwing money at problems, not solving them. 'Let's pay all the victims families in the WTC because we want them to vote for us' , 'Let's give all the victims of Katrina a free $2000 so they think we're working for them and they will vote for us.'

A Happier Note
I said I'd be in a better mood, so here's some good news. My hairdresser called last night to say he's located someone who knows his former roommate and he will take the dog. So it looks like Bonnie has a new home.

Job Hunt
Nothing.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
