No More Stress

My mantra lately has been 'Don't let it get to you'. When I left my last job, it took me one month to decompress. I was so stressed, that job just sucked the life out of me. When I took this job, I vowed I would not allow myself to get to that state again. I feel the stress begining again, so I have to keep telling myself 'Don't let it get to you'. This situation has become exactly what I expected it to become, I just don't have the energy to fight any more battles.

Deja Vu All Over Again
The James Sullivan trial just ended with a guilty verdict. He owned a mansion on Palm Beach and this murder made news down there and I read about it when I lived there. Another local story that has come back to light is the Shannon Melendi trial. She was from Coral Gables, near Miami and I read all about her abduction while I lived down there. Everything old is new again.

24
I admit I'm addicted to that show. High suspense, some interesting turns of events. A few aspects get on my nerves, though. This season, the consultant (or whatever) brought in to coordinate CTU had to leave his post during a national emergency, just to talk to his drug-addicted sister. I think I would have shown some 'tough love' and told her to deal with it. But that set up the scenario where CTU was shut down due to nerve gas. The president is a wuss, but his wife is a tough broad. But they tried to lock her into a mental hospital because she took anti-depressants. If you locked up every person on anti-depressants, most of society would be behind bars.

Something good
I'm trying to find something good. Let's see, it's almost spring, the flowers are blooming. (My car is already turning yellow, but I'm not going there) I can get outside and play now. I'm looking for something interesting to do, maybe help with the Piedmont Park Conservancy and help clean up Piedmont Park. But who's gonna help clean up my yard? I'll get over it.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
