America is a Safer Place to Live

I read a very interesting article yesterday that allowed me to sigh in relief and I was able to sleep better last night, and I know that America is on the Right Course. Congress has approved Medicare funding of Viagra. All is right in the world when the men can get it up. They diverted $90 Million from other medicare services to cover Viagra and similar drugs. I am so beside myself with joy and relief. Education, health care for the elderly and very young, even paying down the national debt, all pale in comparison to Grandpa getting an erection. I really can't say anything more, I'm so relieved...

Now I'm getting mad!
I actually did a little research and found that there have been some deaths related to Viagra. But it's still on the market. There were some deaths and other health issues related to a small percentage of people (read Women) who took Fen-Phen a few years ago to loose weight, and that was taken off the market. I don't have time to do all the statistical research, but there's more to this than just medical results. Read into it whatever you want, but then ask yourself why medical research usually is done on men? We can all die of the same causes, but most prevention research is done on men. And in some cases the prevention differs for men and women. I'm not a Flaming Feminist, but I don't think this is too fair. I know, Life is Unfair and it's not all about me. I guess I'll get over it.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

Yep, and they're trying to take some kinds of birth control pills off the market, too.
