Happy Monday!

Same Old, Same Old
Congratulations to those that ran the ING marathon/ 1/2 marathon yesterday. The weather was good for running, pretty miserable for most everything else. We had a fantastic rain on Saturday, and the temperature dropped. Saturday afternoon it was 70 degrees, Sunday it was 47 degrees. Don't like the weather, stick around for an hour.

Geek
I got bored on Saturday, not bored enough to do my taxes, but bored. So I started learning about WordPress. Check out this new blog . I know, it's pretty lame, but I was bored. I need to get some pictures of Remy. I've decided to give her a new name: Fuzzy Purr Machine. Get her in the right mood, and she purrs so loudly you have to turn the TV up.

Small World
I was talking to my neighbor Saturday AM, he was walking his dog and stopped by for a chat. Turns out, his wife's father was (and is) a press man at the printing company I worked with. I've lived here for 10 years, worked there for 5, did I know that? That's not really a conversation that comes up as they walk down the street.

Stir It Up
Governor Sonny Perdue is in China as I type opening a new Georgia Trade Office in Beijing. Hhuumm, China, the Communist, human-rights violating, poor and dangerous quality exporter and we're trying to make friends with them. Just goes to show, money talks.

Bob Barr for President. Can't believe I'm saying that, but the democrats are walking dangerously towards socialism, and the Republicans, well there just Republicans. He's a Libertarian, and I read his running mate may be Ron Paul. I think I could live with these guys leading our country. I have some questions about Libertarian ideas, but I agree with most that I've read, dealing mostly with States rights and less government.

Speaking of Things I'd never dream of saying, I was watching a news report about the mortgage crisis, and I have to admit, I don't care for the Dems approach. The American people should NOT bail out irresponsible buyers who bought more than they could afford. McCain agrees. I don't want the responsibility of helping these people, they have to learn on their own. There should be regulations in place to make sure this doesn't happen again, but that's not Libertarian and I don't know of any specifics I could suggest. I just know when you have greedy people working with money, things get out of hand, and there needs to be someone to watch these people.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
