Not that I'm going to relax this weekend, but I wont' be at work. I'm getting my hair and nails done tomorrow, shopping for a $20 gift for an office gift exchange, buying desert to take to the Christmas Party and then going to the Christmast party. I'm not big on Office Parties, but this one should be interesting, between Georgia natives and New Dehli natives. (Do they even celebrate Christmas??)
What Would You Do?
I have a strange dilemma. I had to have April put down last week, and I had her cremated. The crematorium called and said her cremains are ready to pick up, but their hours are 8-5 M-F. I can't make it 8-5 M-F. Can I ask a friend? 'Would you go pick up my cat? She won't take up much room. She's reallly quiet.' Would you pick up a friends' pets' cremains? This is truly a dilemma.
Let Me Tell You About My Kitty
I know, y'all get tired of me talking about my cats, but It Is what It Is. The other night, Miss K was suffering from a serious case of ADD, she needed, no WANTED attention. I was trying to make some jewelry, so I had beads and wires and all sorts of small stuff on my desk. She jumped right up in the middle of that and head-butted me. Not being one to discourage her, I loved on her and put her on the floor. She did it again. I did it again. This went on for awhile, and didn't show any signs of stopping, so I picked the cat up and put her on my shoulders, paws on one shoulder, across the back of my neck and her head on the other shoulder. She STAYED there! She didn't move for a good 10 minutes. She's a VERY Heavy kitty when you have to support her with your neck. The Greatest Kitty Ever.
More Culture
Tonite I'm off to see 'Queer Carol' an interesting take on the Christmas Carol Story. Sounds interesting, could be hysterical. I promise you we won't be going to Clermont Lounge tonite. The worst we could do in downtown Decatur is My Sisters Room, but it seems like they've moved. So I guess we can't get into too much trouble tonite. Tomorrow is the office Christmas Party and Sunday it's cold. Laundry, cleaning and maybe hiking. Or not.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

I would do a favor like that for a friend...heck let me know. I usually bug out of work early on Fridays anyway.
My Sister's Room is now located in East Atlanta. I haven't been there (yet) but I have watched the action on their back deck from the Glenwood's deck. Heck the pub crawl is Saturday, I'm sure if I'm ever going to go in there that will be the time.
