The List
I've made a long list of all the things I have to do now that I have money coming in. First thing is to get the bathroom in order, at least get an exhaust fan, ideally get a window put in and the entire thing remodeled. I want to get rid of all grout lines and things I have to clean. I've heard the re-bath or bath-fitters thing is good.
First and foremost, I have to get some things to wear to work. In the last few years, my wardrobe has been t-shirts, sweatpants or shorts and tennis shoes. When I was working, I had a uniform or I could wear jeans. Prior to that, all my employment situations have been at a warehouse, so my business casual is pretty casual. I know this is the State of Ga and there doesn't seem to be a dress code, but I need to upgrade. So today I'm out there for the essentials, lingerie, slacks, shoes, nice shirts. But most important, I need a haircut, a nice color, a pedicure and possibly a manicure. I'm thinking about getting some fake nails. My sister, the BA suggested I get them as it always is nicer to look good when you're pointing to someone else. So if I start Monday, that won't happen until next weekend, but if I start Aug 27, I can start making appointments.
I have to set up a budget, determine if it's cheaper to commute or take Marta, prioritize my list of things. So I've got my work cut out for me, but in a good way. I'm going to 're invent' myself, so I need to figure out what to do. I want to take some classes, (for my job and for me), join some professional organizations and keep up the networking. I want to work toward my BA certification and PMI certification. This time, advanced education will pay off.
Well, I best get started. Got lots to do!

Just remember that you actually don't get paid until you have done some work....
Fake nails look great, but they need to be kept up, so plan on spending some $$ on it. I'm always game to go with you, I need a pedi for sure.
