If I could only get started about 2 hours earlier, I'd be on a good schedule! I've been using my treadmill daily for almost a week now. See what happens when you get rid of stuff? You find things you didn't remember you had! LOL! I never forgot the treadmill, I just didn't use it. So I started doing 30 minutes daily. Except yesterday, when I actually went outside and walked 3 miles. The humidity is lower and it's been GREAT sleeping weather the last 2 nights. I'm trying to get on a better daily schedule, not sleeping until 9 or 9:30. I do wake up early, just don't get out of bed. Gotta fix that.
More Random Thoughts
Last Thursday, I saw part of the interview Larry King did with Tammy Faye Baker Messner. On a normal day, she was scary looking, but being so sick and thin, with all of her make-up on, she was Very Scary. But she still had her sense of humor and she seemed OK with things. Of course, we all know she passed away on Friday and was cremated. I didn't follow her career much, I kinda wrote her off after the Jim Baker fiasco. I never watched PTL or any of her shows, she was just too outrageous. But recently, I had heard she was on some reality show and really made a good impression on all the young kids. Just to watch this woman on TV was amazing. She wanted to do the interview with Larry King, and there she was, in all of her makeup. She was in pain and did get tired, but she had such class and was so positive. She KNEW she was going to heaven. She really made a good impression.
Then Larry King brought on Depak Chopra, who has a different outlook on heaven and death than do Christians. I understand why he did it, but Deepak was quite the downer after listening to Tammy Faye. Even if you don't believe in God, the Christian ideals of life after death are so much more uplifting than Chopra's.
Michael Vick
Enough already. The best thing for him to do would be to take a season-long vacation. Get out of the spotlight and let us all forget about him.

Won't these bimbos ever go away???
Baseball
Got sucked into a repeat of the Ken Burns documentary on Baseball. GPTV was running it on Sunday, and I watched 2 (or was it 3) episodes. (At 2 hours each, I wasted a day!) I remember when it was first on, way back in the '90's. I lived in Fl, and they had just gotten the Marlins. I wasn't a baseball fan growing up, DC didn't have a team, and when they did they were bad. (Some things never change!) I couldn't wait to get home to watch this program! I learned so much and it was fascinating. I was ready to become a baseball fan. Then they went on strike, and I kinda lost the enthusiasm. When I moved to Atlanta, I got caught up in the Braves. You couldn't beat the pitching rotation the Braves had with Glavin, Maddox and Smoltz. They could do no wrong. Someday I'll learn to score a game. I love that detailed minutae.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
