OK, so I'm not hanging in there barley, that would be a grain or seed. I'm hanging in there barely, but I think you get the idea. I was rushed yesterday as there were too many people waiting to get to the computer. I came at a different time today.
Neighborhood Excitement
Again today, we were visited by the Fairfax County police. Seems the house across the street is a Den of Illegal Substances and they are being evicted. The activity over there has been suspicious, several people live there but no one owns a car. Lots of taxi cabs come and go, usually at night. As far as I can tell, one woman and 4 men live over there, which is next to impossible as it's only a 2 bedroom home. But who knows? The police have been watching them, and so have we. One of our neighbors, the only one still there from my childhood, walked past the house, staring open mouthed while the cops were at the front door. She's always been a busybody, the neighborhood gossip, but I wouldn't walk past any house where police are at the front door. The policeman told my parents that 'If you were my parents, I'd be worried'. So there you are, drug dealers in a neighborhood with $1 million homes. Go figure.
Health Report
Daddy is doing better, they were being visited today by the Oxygen people, to be evaluated for in-house oxygen. He's against it, some of his friends have died very shortly after getting the oxygen, but he doesn't need it all the time, it will be for Peace of Mind. My mom and I (and him) would be more relaxed knowing it's in the house if we need it. He's being annoying, trying to pick fights and make a mountain out of a mole hill. We, er, I have issues with the A/C, they're always cold, I'm always hot. We compromise and turn the A/C on in the evening. He complains about how cold he is, walking around in his t-shirt and shorts. We tell him to put on long pants, but he won't, so he just complains. I will explain to him the alternative is for me to walk around in my underware, which isn't really a visual any one needs. Still he complains.
I spend a lot of my time taking them to doctor's visits. One today, one tomorrow, 2 next week. I'm going to have to have my mom practice driving while I'm here so she can do it when I leave. I will get the number of a senior transport service. Which they won't use.
More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'

Excitement across the street, at least you can stare out your window at them. At least they are being evicted.
