OK, so not so invincible!

I walked Stone Mountain yesterday, today my quads and my calves hurt. And tomorrow will only be better.

Job Hunt
Went to the Decatur Seekers group this morning, and as I was leaving, I saw snow flakes! Once upon a time, I was in a similar situation, I was driving around in the snow looking for a job in DC. I stopped at a bank, filled out an application, got in my beautiful 1971 Ford Galaxie and when I pulled onto the road, I fishtailed slightly. I decided I didn't want to be out in that weather, so I went home and turned on the TV. I watched in horror the coverage of the Air Florida plane that had crashed into the 14th Street Bridge that day AND the coverage of the Metro rail crash. What a horrible day that was.

New Blog
Along with a friend of mine, I've created a new Blog: Tea and Crumpets. This is a politically charged friendly discussion of events and policies from both sides of the political arena. Should be interesting. My friend is a very eloquent writer, and researches her opinions, so she's going to keep me on my toes!

In setting up this blog yesterday, I attempted to edit the HTML to make some customized changes to the blog. I ended up spending several hours attempting to do what looked to be an easy change. That's what I hate about coding, nothing is as it seems. But I guess that's life.

Emory U
Salman Rushdie is now a Distinguished Writer in Residence at Emory. I believe the Dhali Lama is also a resident lecturer now, too. Hhuuummm, some interesting company.

More to come...
As things happen, I'll be posting. Thanks for taking the time to read. You're opinions are welcome but if you have to start calling me names, don't bother, I won't read them. As my Dad says 'Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one.'
